Burned Forest
A vast Death Zone of colossal charred trees, where an ancient forest has been reduced to a seemingly endless labyrinth of blackened trunks, ash, and hidden horrors.
Biography & Lore
The Burned Forest is a vast and desolate Death Zone located beyond the northern reaches of the Forgotten Shore. Beneath an ashen sky stand the remains of an ancient forest of unimaginable scale.
Titanic blackened trunks, each as wide as a tower, rise from an enormous mass of shattered and intertwined deadwood. The fallen trees form a tangled layer hundreds of meters deep, completely concealing the ground and whatever may dwell beneath it.
Despite having been consumed by fire long ago, much of the enormous forest remains standing or preserved in its ruined state. The spaces between its ancient trunks harbor powerful Nightmare Creatures, making passage through the Burned Forest extraordinarily dangerous.
